Disconnecting the Washer
1Disconnect the power for the washing machine.
2Disconnect the water lines using channel lock pliers.
3Disconnect the drain hose and empty it into a bucket.
4Pull the washing machine away from the wall.
5Spread the blanket out on the floor behind the washer. Tilt the washer back till it is laying, back down, on the blanket. You will will need assistance for this.
Mounting the Pedestal
6Unscrew the feet from Clear Away Washing Machine Smells the bottom in the washer with channel lock pliers.
7Remove the pedestal drawer from the box and open it. Take away the screws attaching the drawer to the rails with a Phillips screwdriver. There are two screws, a single on either side. 8Install two of the 5/8-inch hex screws that came together with the pedestal in to the holes on the back edge from the bottom in the washer. Use a 5/8-inch wrench to turn the screws till they are sticking out from the bottom with the washer about 3/8 of an inch.

Raise the frame up to seat the hex screws.
10Screw the two remaining 5/8-inch hex screws up by way of the holes on the prime front with the pedestal frame and in to the base in the washer frame. Use a 5/8-inch wrench to tighten all the hex screws.
11Lift the washer and reconnect the drain hose and water lines. Slide the washer back into place. Ensure the pedestal feet are making contact with the floor. Use channel lock pliers to loosen the foot lock nut and turn the foot shaft to make adjustments.
